Denise Carr, Ph.D., M.B.A.
 
Denise Carr has seventeen years of experience in the pharmaceutical, research products, and clinical diagnostics industries. Her experience includes a variety of research, marketing and management positions at Merck&Co., DuPont, and EM Diagnostic Systems. Prior to her career in recruiting, Dr. Carr was Vice President, Business Development, at EM Diagnostic Systems, a subsidiary of E. Merck, Darmstadt, Germany. There she established and managed a staff with worldwide responsibility for strategic planning, market research, technology licensing, new ventures, and contract negotiations. As Marketing Director, she had responsibility for product management, advertising, and technical services. Dr. Carr has a B.A. in Chemistry from Mount Holyoke College, an M.B.A. in Management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Princeton University.
 
James Lowry, Ph.D., D.A.B.C.C.
 
James Lowry worked in the clinical and research products industries for twenty years before becoming a recruiter. During his eight year career at DuPont, he rose from the level of Research Chemist to increasingly responsible management positions in the areas of Development and Manufacturing Support for research instrumentation and for clinical chemistry instrumentation and consumables. As Director, Process Development, and later as Vice President, Research & Development, Dr. Lowry managed a large staff responsible for research, development, packaging, instrument engineering, manufacturing engineering, and customer support for a wide range of clinical diagnostic instruments and reagents. Prior to his industrial career, Dr. Lowry worked and did research in hospital laboratories. Dr. Lowry has a B.S. in Chemistry from Lafayette College and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Illinois. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Chemists, with post-doctoral experience at the University of Washington.
